Indie Comics
Dolmistaska by angusburgers
Gonna make this clear, the author of this comic is one of my closest friends so this is going to be incredibly biased.
This is one of my favorite comics to ever do it. Dolmistaska is about an anthropromorphic cat named PM who is a down on their luck mall rat who roams the supermall Dolmistaska as a jobless bum. PM as a protagonist is like sailing in the ocean and feeling a fucking wind turbine blow your boat five million miles an hour in front of you, the pacing of this comic is fast, lively, and it hits you in the fuckin' gut. It's one of the things I love about it. Dolmistaska as a webcomic is a giant rollercoaster ride of what decision is PM going to make and how are they going to react to the domino effect of their fuckup. But it also is somber, there's a lot of time spent dwelling on their past. PM is one of the most grounded, human feeling characters. I love Dolmistaska.

Hachimitsu by Anaugi
Hachimitsu mixes frantic and explosive fights with cute girls, killer art, and funny gags to make an incredible comic! The comic stars Hachi, a wandering blade for hire who in a chance encounter on the job meets Gwynn Shepard (Shep for short!) a witch from the Shepard Clan! Shep hires Hachi to be her bodyguard as they adventure through the world to rebuld the Shepard's Journal, a log of the world's history! Hachi and Shep travel together with their little buddy Dagron, a small dragon who lives in the Shepard's Journal and Raster Gamalott, a once legendary hero and Shep's Uncle!
My favorite thing about Hachimitsu is it's standout cast of characters with absolutely stellar designs and grand personalities to match. Characters like Miel and Wyatt steal the show with their appearences, you can expect that almost every arc to have a standout new character to show up. Along with that, Hachi and Shep have really great chemistry together and the way their budding relationship is written is so damn well. I really enjoy seeing Hachi's character develop as she shows more of her emotions around Shep. Please check out Hachimitsu!!

Cultural Reset by Teo Suzuki
"What if I could shed my humanity and become a wolf person and live in the woods outside of society?" Cultural Reset asks this and now it is one of my favorite comics I discovered in 2025. Cultural Reset takes place in a world where humans can take a drug to become wolf people (this is called a Cultural Reset), some people do it because they want to free themselves and become an animal, others do it to avoid the eye of the law. Jasmine is a government employee working at a checkpoint for people who have Cultural Reset to go into the woods, she encounters a resetter named Regina and her crew who smuggle people into the woods illegally. The two of them start working together and it completely turns Jasmine's life on her head, she has to face the inequality and injustice that comes to those who reset and the functions of her job keeping people from being their true selves.
